ABOUT PROSTATE

A VERY GOOD INFO, SHARING IS CARING

Pls read. And help someone today
FULL TEXT OF PROSTATE HEALTH AWARENESS LECTURE PRESENTED AT MEETING OF FGBMFI (NORTH-GAGATE   CHAPTER)

MEN - MY CHILDHOOD; MY MANHOOD; MY PROSTATE.. MUST READ!!

Ladies and Gentlemen

I am here to speak with you on Prostate. The topic is misleading. Is prostate strictly for men? Yes, ONLY men have prostate and ONLY men over 40years but the healthcare enlightenment is for everyone. There is no woman who does not know a man 40 years and above – father, uncle, brother, son, friend, neighbor, colleague …

Essentially what I will be doing today is health promotion. Responsible health promotion must provide three things:

1. Information
2. Reassurance
3. A plan of action.

Let me start with a background on prostate health.
Everyone has a pair of kidneys. The job of the kidney is to remove waste. It is the LAWMA (waste management company) of your body. Everyday your blood passes through the kidney several times to be filtered. As the blood is filtered, urine is formed and stored in a temporary storage tank called the urinary bladder.

If there were to be no urinary bladder, as a man walks on the road, urine will be dropping.
Now think of the plumbing work in your house. Think of the urinary bladder as the overhead storage tank. From the storage tank, a good plumber will run pipes to other parts of the house, including the kitchen. God in His wisdom ran pipes from our urinary bladder to the tip of the penis. The pipe is called the urethra. Just below the bladder and surrounding the urethra is a little organ called the prostate gland.

The prostate gland is the size of a walnut and weighs about 20grams. Its job is to make the seminal fluid which is stored in the seminal vesicle. During sexual intercourse, seminal fluid comes down the urethra and mixes with the sperms produced in the testicles to form the semen. So semen technically is not sperm. It is sperm + seminal fluid. The seminal fluid lubricates the sperm.

After age 40, for reasons that may be hormonal, the prostate gland begins to enlarge. From 20 grams it may grow to almost 100 grams. As it enlarges, it squeezes the urethra and the man begins to notice changes in the way he urinate.

If you have a son under 10, if he has a little mischief like we all did at that age, when he comes out to urinate, he can target the ceiling and the jet will hit target. Call his father to do same, wahala dey. His urine stream is weak, cannot travel a long distance and sometimes may come straight down on his legs. So he may need to stand in awkward position to urinate.

Not many men will be worried their urine stream cannot hit the ceiling. Toilets are on the floor and not on the ceiling. But other symptoms begin to show.

TERMINAL DRIPPLING:
The man begins to notice that after urinating and repacking, urine still drops on his pants. This is the reason why after an older man urinates, he has to ring bell. A younger man simply delivers to the last drop and walks away. Just see an older man coming from the bathroom. Sometimes he may clutch the newspaper closely to hide the urine stains, particularly on plain colored trousers.

HESISTANCY
At this point you wait longer for the urine flow to start. There are 2 valves that must open for you to urinate – the internal and external sphincters. Both open but because of obstructions in the urethra, you wait long for the flow to start.

INCOMPLETE EMPTYING
You have this feeling immediately after urinating that there is still something left.

As all these things happen, the bladder begins to work harder to compensate for the obstruction in the urethra. The frequency of urination goes up. Urgency sets in. sometimes you have to practically run into the toilet. Nocturia also becomes common. You wake up more than 2 times at night to urinate. Your wife begins to complain.

Men being men may not talk to anyone even at this point. Then the more serious complications start.
Stored urine gets infected and there may be burning sensation when urinating.

Stored urine forms crystals. Crystals come together to form stone either in the bladder or in the kidney. Stones may block the urethra.
Chronic urinary retention sets in. The bladder stores more and more urine. The size of the bladder is 40 - 60 cl. A bottle of coke is 50cl. As the bladder stores more urine it can enlarge up to 300cl. An overfilled bladder may leak and this leads to wetting / urinary incontinence. Also the volume may put pressure on the kidney and may lead to kidney damage.
What may likely bring the man to hospital is acute urinary retention. He wakes up one day and he is not able to pass urine.

Everything I have described above is associated with prostate enlargement, technically called benign prostate hyperplasia.

There are other diseases of the prostate like:
1. Prostatitis – inflammation of the prostate
2. Prostate cancer – cancer of the prostate.

This discussion is on prostate enlargement.

I have bad news and good news.

The bad news is that everyman will have prostate enlargement if he lives long enough.
The good news is that there are life style changes that can help the man after 40 to maintain optimum prostate health.

Nutrition
Look at what you eat. 33% of all cancers, according to the US National Cancer Institute is related to what we eat.
Red meat everyday triples your chances of prostate disease. Milk everyday doubles your risk. Not taking fruits / vegetables daily quadruples your risk.

Tomatoes are very good for men. If that is the only thing your wife can present in the evening, eat it with joy. It has loads of lycopene. Lycopene is the most potent natural antioxidant.
Foods that are rich in zinc are also good for men. We recommend pumpkin seeds (ugbogulu).
Zinc is about the most essential element for male sexuality and fertility.

Men need more zinc than women. Every time a man ejaculates he loses 15mg of zinc. Zinc is also important for alcohol metabolism. Your liver needs zinc to metabolize alcohol.

ALCOHOL CONSUMPTION
As men begin to have urinary symptoms associated with prostate enlargement, it is important they look at alcohol consumption. More fluid in means more fluid out.

Drink less. Drink slowly.

EXERCISE
Exercise helps build the muscle tone. Every man should exercise. Men over 40 should avoid high impact exercise like jogging. It puts pressure on the knees. Cycling is bad news for the prostate. We recommend brisk walking.

SITTING
When we sit, two-third of our weight rests on the pelvic bones. Men who sit longer are more prone to prostate symptoms. Do not sit for long hours. Walk around as often as you can. Sit on comfortable chairs. We recommend a divided saddle chair if you must sit long hours.

DRESSING
Men should avoid tight underwear. It impacts circulation around the groin and heats it up a bit. While the physiological temperature is 37 degrees, the groin has an optimal temperature of about 33 degrees. Pant is a no - no for men. Wear boxers.  Wear breathable clothing.

SMOKING
Avoid smoking. It affects blood vessels and impact circulation around the groin.

SEX
Regular sex is good for the prostate.

Celibates are more prone to prostate illness. While celibacy is a moral decision, it is not a biological adaptation. Your prostate gland is designed to empty its contents regularly.

Thought: when someone shared something of value with you and benefit from it. You have a moral obligation to share it with others because someone in your friends list might be save.

penyakit warga emas

1. Brain: Memory and Alzheimer's Disease (AD)

As adults age, many worry that they are becoming more forgetful. They think forgetfulness is the first sign of Alzheimer's Disease (AD). In the past, memory loss and confusion were accepted as just part of growing older. However, scientists now know that people can remain both alert and able as they age, although it may take them longer to remember things.

2. Bones and Joints

The weight-bearing bones and the movable joints take much wear and tear as the body ages. The most common age-related conditions are:
Osteoporosis: OSTEOPOROSIS is a disease that weakens bones to the point where they break easily—most often bones in the hip, backbone (spine), and wrist—and most often in women. As people enter their 40s and 50s, bones begin to weaken. The outer shell of the bones also gets thinner.
Arthritis: There are different kinds of ARTHRITIS, each with different symptoms and treatments. Arthritis can attack joints in almost any part of the body. Millions of adults and half of all people age 65 and older are troubled by this disease. Osteoarthritis (OA) is the most common type of arthritis in older people. OA starts when cartilage begins to become ragged and wears away. At OA's worst, all of the cartilage in a joint wears away, leaving bones that rub against each other. Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA) is an AUTOIMMUNE disease. In RA, that means your body attacks the lining of a joint just as it would if it were trying to protect you from injury or disease. RA leads to inflammation in your joints. This inflammation causes pain, swelling, and stiffness that can last for hours.

3. Eyes and Ears

About the age of 40, eyesight weakens, and at around 60, cataracts and macular degeneration may develop. Hearing also declines with age.
Sight:
Presbyopia
(prez-bee-OH-pee-uh) is a slow loss of ability to see close objects or small print. It is a normal process that happens as you get older. Holding the newspaper at arm's length is a sign of presbyopia. Reading glasses usually fix the problem.
Cataracts are cloudy areas in the eye's lens causing loss of eyesight. Cataracts often form slowly without any symptoms. Some stay small and don't change eyesight very much. Others may become large or dense and harm vision. Cataract surgery can help. Cataract surgery is safe and is one of the most common surgeries done in the United States.
Glaucoma comes from too much pressure from fluid inside the eye. Over time, the pressure can hurt the optic nerve. This leads to vision loss and blindness. Most people with glaucoma have no early symptoms or pain from the extra pressure. You can protect yourself by having annual eye exams that include dilation of the pupils.

More Information

For much more information on any topic in this special section, go tomedlineplus.gov and type into the "Search MedlinePlus" box at the top of the Web page any of the CAPITALIZED KEYWORDS you see in this section.
Retinal disorders are a leading cause of blindness in the United States. The most common is age-related MACULAR DEGENERATION (AMD). AMD affects the part of the retina (the macula) that gives you sharp central vision. PHOTODYNAMIC THERAPY uses a drug and strong light to slow the progress of AMD. Another treatment uses injections. Ask your eye care professional if you have signs of AMD. Approximately 4.1 million U.S. adults 40 years and older have DIABETIC RETINOPATHY, a degenerative disease affecting vision. Proper medical care, lifestyle changes, and frequent follow-ups can help reduce this alarming statistic.

Hearing: About one-third of Americans between the ages of 65 and 74 have hearing problems. About half the people who are 85 and older have hearing loss.
Presbycusis (prez-bee-KYOO-sis) is age-related hearing loss. It becomes more common in people as they get older. The decline is slow.
Tinnitus (tih-NIE-tuhs) accompanies many forms of hearing loss, including those that sometimes come with aging. People with tinnitus may hear a ringing, roaring, or some other noise inside their ears. Tinnitus may be caused by loud noise, hearing loss, certain medicines, and other health problems, such as allergies and problems in the heart and blood vessels.
.

4. Digestive and Metabolic

As we grow older, the prevalence of gastrointestinal problems increases. Gastroesophageal reflux disease, or GERD, occurs when the lower esophageal sphincter (LES) does not close properly and stomach contents leak back, or reflux, into the esophagus. Heartburn that occurs more than twice a week may be considered GERD, and it can eventually lead to more serious health problems. About 40 percent of adults ages 40 to 74 — or 41 million people — have pre-diabetes, a condition that raises a person's risk for developing type 2 diabetes, heart disease, and stroke.

5. Urogenital

Incontinence: Loss of bladder control is called urinary INCONTINENCE. It can happen to anyone, but is very common in older people. At least 1 in 10 people age 65 or older has this problem. Symptoms can range from mild leaking to uncontrollable wetting. Women are more likely than men to have incontinence. Aging alone does not cause incontinence. It can occur for many reasons: Urinary tract infections, vaginal infection or irritation, constipation, and certain medicines can cause bladder control problems that last a short time. In most cases urinary incontinence can be treated and controlled, if not cured. If you are having bladder control problems, don't suffer in silence. Talk to your doctor.
Benign Prostatic Hypertrophy (BPH): The PROSTATE GLAND surrounds the tube (URETHRA) that passes urine. This can be a source of problems as a man ages because the prostate tends to grow bigger with age and may squeeze the urethra. A tumor can also make the prostate bigger. These changes, or an infection, can cause problems passing urine. Sometimes men in their 30s and 40s may begin to have these urinary symptoms and need medical attention. For others, symptoms aren't noticed until much later in life.
Prostate Cancer: Prostate cancer is the second most common type of cancer among men in this country. Only skin cancer is more common. Out of every three men who are diagnosed with cancer each year, one is diagnosed with prostate cancer.

6. Dental: gingivitis, periodontitis, loss of teeth

Tooth decay is not just a problem for children. It can happen as long as you have natural teeth in your mouth. Tooth decay ruins the enamel that covers and protects your teeth. When you don't take good care of your mouth, bacteria can cling to your teeth and form a sticky, colorless film called dental PLAQUE. This plaque can lead to tooth decay and cavities. Gum disease can also cause your teeth to decay. FLUORIDE is just as helpful for adults as it is for children. Using a fluoride toothpaste and mouth rinse can help protect your teeth.
Gum diseases (sometimes called PERIODONTAL or GINGIVAL DISEASES) are infections that harm the gum and bone that hold teeth in place. When plaque stays on your teeth too long, it forms a hard, harmful covering, called TARTAR, that brushing doesn't clean. The longer the plaque and tartar stay on your teeth, the more damage they cause. This is called GINGIVITIS. If gingivitis is not treated, over time it can make your gums pull away from your teeth and form pockets that can get infected. This is called PERIODONTITIS. If not treated, this infection can ruin the bones, gums, and tissue that support your teeth. In time, it can cause loose teeth that your dentist may have to remove.

7. Skin

The simplest and cheapest way to keep your skin healthy and young looking is to stay out of the sun. Sunlight is a major cause of the skin changes we think of as aging — changes such as wrinkles, dryness, and age spots. Your skin does change with age. For example, you sweat less, leading to increased dryness. As your skin ages, it becomes thinner and loses fat, so it looks less plump and smooth. It's never too late to protect yourself from the harmful effects of the sun. People who smoke tend to have more wrinkles than nonsmokers of the same age, complexion, and history of sun exposure. It may be because smoking also plays a role in damaging ELASTIN proteins. Facial wrinkling increases with the amount of cigarettes and number of years a person has smoked.
  • Dry Skin affects many older people, particularly on their lower legs, elbows, and forearms. The skin feels rough and scaly and often is accompanied by a distressing, intense itchiness. Low humidity — caused by overheating during the winter and air conditioning during the summer — contributes to dryness and itching. The loss of sweat and oil glands as you age also may worsen dry skin. Anything that further dries your skin — such as overuse of soaps, antiperspirants, perfumes, or hot baths — will make the problem worse. Dehydration, sun exposure, smoking, and stress also may cause dry skin.
  • Skin cancer is the most common type of cancer in the United States. According to current estimates, 40 to 50 percent of Americans who live to age 65 will have skin cancer at least once. There are three common types of skin cancers. Basal cell carcinomas are the most common, accounting for more than 90 percent of all skin cancers in the United States. They are slow-growing cancers that seldom spread to other parts of the body. Squamous cell carcinomas also rarely spread, but they do so more often than basal cell carcinomas. The most dangerous of all cancers that occur in the skin is melanoma. Melanoma can spread to other organs, and when it does, it often is fatal.
  • Shingles is a disease that affects nerves and causes pain and blisters in adults. It is caused by the same varicella-zoster virus that causes chickenpox. After you recover from chickenpox, the virus does not leave your body, but continues to live in some nerve cells. For reasons that aren't totally understood, the virus can become active instead of remaining inactive. When it's activated, it produces shingles.

Just like chickenpox, people with shingles will feel sick and have a rash on their body or face. The major difference is that chickenpox is a childhood illness, while shingles targets older people. Most adults live with the virus in their body and never get shingles. But about one in five people who have had chickenpox will get shingles later in life—usually after the age of 50.

8. Functional Abilities

As we age, falls become an increasingly common reason for injuries. Just ask any of the thousands of older men and women who fall each year and break a bone. Falls can come as a result of other changes in the body: Sight, hearing, muscle strength, coordination, and reflexes aren't what they once were as we age. Balance can be affected by diabetes and heart disease, or by problems with your circulation or nervous system. Some medicines can cause dizziness. Any of these things can make a fall more likely. (See Osteoporosis on page 10.)
The more you take care of your overall health and well-being, the more likely you'll be to lower your chances of falling. Ask your doctor about a special test—called a bone mineral density test—that tells how strong your bones are. If need be, your doctor can prescribe new medications that will help make your bones stronger and harder to break.

belangkas bakar

Suka tak makan belangkas? Sedap kan kalau bakar, wangi satu kampung. Telur dia yang paling sedap. Lemak lemak gitu rasanya.

Baru baru ni, kaknab bawa balik dari Muar, beli kat orang sekor rm5. Murah sangat tu. Kat muar kaki mancing beli belangkas nak buat umpan mancing ikan sembilang.

Kaknab dan suami tak biasa lagi guna belangkas buat umpan.

Kalau knab kecik2 dulu, masa dok di Tg Tokong, memang selalu cari belangkas bawa balik bakar. Budak2 dulu memang pandai bab ni.
Kalau mak tahu memang kena marah.

Bayangkan kalau kita ambik sekor betina, habis la riwayat hidup belangkas. Namun telur belangkas sangat sedap. Kaknab pun beli nk makan. Minta maaf kerana memberhentikan pembiakan belangkas.

Belangkas belum bakar

Telur belangkas yang yang sedap

Begini la telurnya setelah dibuka kulitnya

Dah bakar

early to bed early to rise

What Time Should You Sleep?
~ James Pang.

Is there a best time to sleep?

There is a saying that sleeping early and waking up early is good for your health. How true is that? Is it alright to sleep late and wake up late?

You actually have an amazing biological clock ticking inside your body. It is very precise. It helps to regulate your various body functions including your sleeping time.

From 11pm to 3am, most of your blood circulation concentrates in your liver. Your liver gets larger when filled with more blood. This is an important time when your body undergoes detoxification process. Your liver neutralizes and breaks down body toxins accumulated throughout the day.

However if you don't sleep at this time, your liver cannot carry out this detoxification process smoothly.

● If you sleep at 11pm, you have full 4 hours to detoxify your body.
● If you sleep at 12am, you have 3 hours.
● If you sleep at 1am, you have 2 hours.
● And if you sleep at 2am, you only have 1 hour to detoxify.

What if you sleep after 3am? Unfortunately, you won't have any time to actually detoxify your body.

If you continue with this sleeping pattern, these toxins will accumulate in your body over time. You know what happens next.

What if you sleep late and wake up late?

Have you tried going to bed very late at night? Did you realize you feel very tired the next day no matter how much you sleep?

Sleeping late and waking up late is indeed very bad for your health. Besides not having enough time to detoxify your body, you will miss out other important body functions too.

From 3am to 5am, most blood circulation concentrates in your lung. What should you do at this moment? Well, you should exercise and breathe in fresh air. Take in good energy into your body, preferably in a garden. At this time, the air is very fresh with lots of beneficial negative ions.

From 5am to 7am, most blood circulation concentrates in your large intestine. What should you do at this moment? You should poop ! Pass out all unwanted poop from your large intestine. Prepare your body to absorb more nutrients throughout the day.

From 7am to 9am, most blood circulation concentrates in your stomach. What should you do at this moment? Have your breakfast ! This is your most important meal in a day. Make sure you have all the required nutrients from your breakfast. Not having breakfast causes lots of health problems for you in the future.

There you are...the most ideal way to start your day.

After fully detoxifying your blood during your sleep, you wake up fresh to inhale beneficial energy. Then you pass out unwanted poop from your large intestine. After that, you take in balanced nutrients to prepare your body for a new day.

No wonder people living in villages or farms is healthier. They sleep early and wake up early. They follow their natural biological clock.

Living in city, we have more difficulty in following this sleeping schedule. We have good lighting, TV and internet to delay our precious sleeping time.

Follow your natural timetable.

What if you're offered a night shift job? I recommend you to reject it even if the salary is higher. For long term, you may need to spend more money for your health problems.

What if you have assignment to do until late at night? Well, why not sleep early and wake up earlier to do it? Just shift your work time from late night to early morning. You get the same time. But your body will appreciate it.

Try to follow this timing as close as possible. Make it your daily routine.

ujian darah kaknab terbaru

singgang ikan keli

Semalam kaknab masak singgang ikan keli. Ikan keli yang kaknab mancing ada lagi, tak tahu nak masak apa, gulai dah, masak lemak cili api dah, sambal pun dah.

Oleh kerana kaknab sorang saja yang makan ikan keli, suami dan emak kaknab pun tak makan, tak kisah la masak apa ikut tekak kaknab.
dah siap masak sedap pula, jadi kena simpan resepi ni dan kita kongsi bersama. Ikan keli ikan darat kena cuci bersih2, kalau cuci cincai2 memang tak lalu nak makan.

walaupun tak boh minyak, kuahnya berminyak sebab lemak ikan keli

isi ikan keli
air agak banyak nak masak
lengkuas
serai
halia
daun kesum
2-3 keping asam gelugur.
garam

rebus semua di atas kecuali ikan. biar rebusan tadi mendidih dan berbau wangi serai dan lengkuas. baru masukan isi ikan keli. perlahankan api biar singgang mereneh hingga ikan masak.  bila dah siap tutup api, tutup periuk rapat supaya kuah yang wangi serai, lengkuas, halia dan daun kesum meresap ke dalam isi ikan.

Kuih cakoi aka patongko rangup

Kuih cakoi

500 grams bread flour
1 packet of instant yeast (about 11g)
4 grams of baking soda
4 grams of double acting baking powder
16 grams of salt
15 grams of cooking oil
1 egg
250 grams of warm water
4 tablespoon of sugar dissolve it in 250  of warm water.(this added by knab because knab like a bit sweet. Their original recepi no sugar.

In  a big whisking bowl, put all dry ingredients together. Make a well in the centre, add the eggs and water. Use a spoon to roughly stir until it form a sticky dough. Transfer the whisking bowl to the standing mixer. Use a dough hook and beat the dough at medium to high speed for about 15 minutes until smooth. Add oil and beat for another 10 minutes until all the oil are incorporated.

Set aside and let it proof until almost double in size. Kaknab set for 45 minutes only.
Transfer the dough to a flat surface. Use a rolling pin to roll it in a square.shape of about 0.5 cm thickness. Cut the dough into 1 cm x 6 cm rectangular pieces. Put one piece of dough on top of the other piece of dough. Place the two pieces of dough on top of a chopstick. Press. Place chopstick on the othe side of block with chopstick, press to get like divider. Pull longer and fry till golden brown.

It's really worth to read this!

Wishing you always healthy, Doctor Tang from St. Elizabeth Hospital, Hong Kong wrote this:

We, human being, as long as our spleen, liver, large intestine, kidney are healthy, we will be far away from cancer, diabetes, heart attack and high blood pressure.

Spleen must be healthy in priority.

Once you are sick, you must recover your spleen first.

Our daily three meals, grains/wheat/brown rice at least must take 50%, learn to make it as an habit.

Grain crops are red bean, soya bean, green bean, Chinese Pearl barley. Lotus seeds are good also. Once your spleen is good, liver will automatically be healthy.

Spleen is manufacturing blood. The important schedules for processing are 12:00 am and 12:00 pm. Thus, when you need to rest, you must rest. Nowadays, they are a lot of people who are having problems of liver. Why is it?

Late sleeping, eat oily fried foods, bad mood, these are the three nemesis.

Once oil covered up our liver. When you eat oily foods, oil will cover up your whole liver, your liver will loss its functions.

When we are feeling not comfortable, the sickness is coming to rectify our negligence, use pain to educate us, we must change our way of living.
Every morning, do you find difficulty to pass motion? What does it mean?

Your intake of fibre foods are not enough.

Thousands of sickness problems, their main cause is unable to perform daily passing motion through large intestine.

If your large intestine is good, in the morning, you are not woke up by yourselves, the movement of large intestine is calling you. Why?

Because 5:00 am to 7:00 am, our large intestine is most actively performing its functions. That's why we inform cancer patients must go to sleep at 9:00 pm. Because large intestine will automatically wake you up in 6:00 am to 7:00 am to sit on the toilet bowl.

How many times you must go to toilet everyday?

Please remember, if 4-5 days go once to toilet, you are serious in constipation.

2-3 days once, considered as medium level of constipation.

One day once is mild constipation.

Once the foods is maintained inside our stomach for 12 hours, it became poisonous particles.

Because the poisonous particles are not passing out, it will absorbed by large intestinal wall, it will send back to liver, and damaged our liver. This will create a serious problem.

There is a direct relationship between liver and large intestine. Once our large intestine is passable, liver will get recovered, and build-up our antibody. Then, blood delivery to heart will be clean, no sickness will attack you.

When you feel that everyday you are tiring, very easy to get tired, that means you are having problems with liver, your blood is unable to return back to liver.

What is your health depending?

While you are sleeping, your spleen is going to collect blood and deliver to liver for dialysis, after clean up the poisonous particles, it then delivers to heart, heart will despatch throughout your body. You then received nutrients and get healthy.

Very unluckily, nowadays people is having problems on spleen. Spleen itself is not storing blood.

There is only one method to maintain spleen, grains/oat/wheat is the most effective. Why modern body is so poor, many sicknesses?

Because they don't eat grains/oat, they eat burger, fried chicken, steak, French fries, rice. You must eat the source foods like brown rice, oat, wheat.

Recovering back the four main organs, sickness will leave you.

Use your patience to read several times, properly take care yourselves. This week is "world friendship week", send this message to all of your good friends.

Kueh lapis

Jadi kaknab pun cuba lah buat hari ni,
Rasa lemak, manis, lembut boleh selak sekeping sekeping, kira cukup lemak lah tu, cuma kolor berlapis2 kurang terserlah, apa pun knab bagi 3 bintang to myself.

Oleh kerana knab buat loyang kecil saja, jadi buat sikit saja bahannya,
Kalau nak buat loyang besar double kan.

1 cawan beras rendam. Blender halus dgn 1/2 cawan air
1/4 tepung gandum
1/4/tepung ubibkayu
1/2 cawan gula
2 cawan santan
(klu guna tepung beras readymade) santan 2 1/2 cawan.)
Knab dah masuk 1/2 cawan air dlm beras blender so knab guna 2 cawan santan saja.
Pewarna merah
Esen rose klu nk wangi klu xmau pun blh.

Bahagi dua. Yg satu tambah tambahkan pewarna merah,

Bila loyang dah panas cedok sesenduk, warna putih atau lebih,  biar masak 5 minit tepung tu berkilat menunjukkan dah masak, kemudian cedok sesenduk lagi warna merah, buat seterusnya hingga habis, lebih sejam juga kalau nk habiskan semua baru ia masak elok.

Biar sejuk baru potong.
